Our Story

4 broke college longboarders, addressing a significant shift in the ethos of surfing. We are witnessing a transformation in the surfing community's core values, the fear of falling behind in a rapidly evolving sport. Losing sight of the timeless fashion, motivation, and overall morale of old-school longboarding.

In response to this challenge, The Surf Bus emerged as a pioneering initiative. We have embarked on the ambitious journey of transforming an aging school bus into a fully functional mobile surf shop. The weathered exterior of the prehistoric yellow school bus serves as a poignant symbol, signifying the enduring roots of the surfing culture that transcend the passage of time. Concurrently, the interior, a reimagining of the buses functionality illustrates the potential our generation has to infuse vibrancy into the community.

Our mission is clear: to reignite the passion for surfing and restore the time-honored values that make it a cherished pastime while adding our generational flare.

Operating along the east coast, The Surf Bus will follow swells and stoke. Our vision is to breathe new life into the youth surfing culture, fostering a sense of rejuvenation and reminding everyone that surfing is meant to be fun.

At the heart of our endeavor is my father's favorite saying, 'The best surfer is the one having the most fun.’ The Surf Bus is not just a mobile surf shop but a movement dedicated to preserving the spirit of enjoyment within the surfing community. Join us on this exciting journey as we strive to make waves, not just on the water but in the hearts and minds of surfers, young and old.
